The building at 303 North Main is part of a block constructed in 1875 by T. J. Gibson. This site holds the distinction of being the first brick structure built in Winnsboro. Historical documentation regarding its origin was provided by Mrs. Alf Morris and Mrs. Alma Moore, later published in the Winnsboro News on November 3, 1966.

Early to Mid-20th Century Occupants

• 1946 - W.D. Miller Cash Store

• Nollie Inman Shop: This dress shop moved to 303 North Main in March 1956.

• Band Box of Fashions: Opened in April 1965, and operated until May 1996.
